		<description>Oh, could I just add: it was not me who nicked his Bert Jansch LP. Whatever it may have looked like that copy I had (still have somewhere, rather battered) when he and Pat visited Aberystwyth was my very own bought shortly after I left Cambridge. Imitation is not original (I never was very) but it is the sincerest form of flattery. I learned a lot from Alan and my other friends at Clare, and needed to because callow isn&#039;t in it recalling my temperament there.
He would have been surprised at if he knew that certain of my students in the 1970s thought that I was a Marxist. Never was, deny it strenuously!</description>
